4.1.3 Source Synthesis

  • Understand the ideas should be based on sources, not the writer's personal opinions, feelings or thoughts.
  • Learn what methods of synthesis they can apply in their writing.

Homework 
Source Synthesis Matrix
Complete the Source Synthesis Matrix with 5 sources that you chose for your research paper.
First, fill out the left column,  main ideas, and note the author and the year for each source.
This chart will give you a big picture of how you will use the sources in your research paper.
At least 4 main ideas and 5 sources.
*Name the file "SSM_Your First Name"
